Personal Background

Luke is a Colorado native, with roots on the Western Slope.  His father’s family were early settlers in Basalt, and his mother was born in Grand Junction.  Luke was born in Boulder, where his parents were students at the University of Colorado.  Luke settled in Gunnison in 2002, attracted by its great natural beauty and the strong community ties.  Luke and his wife Ellen live in Gunnison and enjoy the area’s unsurpassed opportunities for outdoor recreation.
